BEHIND THE JERSEY

My name is Chase Williams, I am a dedicated and driven 6'8 student athlete and other than God, my passion is basketball.   I have been playing the sport since 2nd grade and have worked hard to develop my skills on and off the court. I am currently a Varsity player for West Bladen High School under coach Travis Pait and UAA 17 player for Team Curry out of Charlotte for Coach Sim Frazier.  I am a versatile PF/C player who can, box out and rebound, finish the shot, shoot long range when needed, hit free throws, create plays and play tough defense protecting the rim no matter the size competition.

I am constantly seeking to improve my game and push myself to new heights. Hard work does not intimidate me, it only motivates me.  I work on my skills and train 5 to 7 days a week year round, and am always looking for ways to outwork my competition. I am a leader on and off the court, with a positive attitude, good grades and a team-first mentality.

I am currently seeking a D1 college scholarship to continue my basketball career at the next level. I believe that my skills, work ethic, and determination make me a valuable asset to any college program. I am ready to take my game to the next level and compete at a high level of competition.
